Letter & Important Announcements From Your HOA Board

With the New Year comes a newly elected HOA Board. The new Board consists of the following residents: Julie Spencer, Don Webb, Chad Zellner, Donna Thomas, Victor Bucci, Steven Pyle, and Leslie Bochy.  One of the Board’s goals this year is to proactively communicate within our community. This Board believes in keeping the residents informed of the state of affairs of Strathmore subdivision. As Board members, we are representing you, the Strathmore homeowners. It is a privilege and honor to represent our fellow homeowners.  Our goal is to preserve our community, operate a fiscal responsible HOA, and protect our property values.

Remember that the Board consists of volunteers serving each and everyone in the Strathmore community to oversee the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the Association. We take our charge very seriously and need each and every homeowner’s help to be successful. There are many areas for each one of you to serve with us. We are always in need of help on committees to lead or assist in planning and to do the work of the community. We challenge, encourage, and will even beg each resident to volunteer and get involved. Please contact any Board member for information on how you can contribute and get involved in the Strathmore community. As always, bring any and all ideas and solutions to the Board, so that we can together create a better community. 

There is a lot of important work to be done around our community in the next coming years, as our neighborhood ages. Please be a part of the solutions and improvements as they occur. If something interests you or you can donate your time and trade or craft, please reach out. If you want to create a neighborhood directory, or newsletter, or communication plan, or clean bathrooms, or clean street signs, or organize events, or be a street captain, or create a welcome wagon, or paint, or oversee contracts, or can go door to door for email addresses, or can distribute flyers to every homeowner, run a website, etc., Please contact us!

We are looking forward to a great new year with a refreshed energy of community directed toward creating and maintaining the best kept secret in Coweta County! Important upcoming dates and announcements:

April 11th, 2016 - The Spring Cleaning Dumpster will be available at the pool parking lot. Once it is full it will be removed! Please remember this dumpster is for household items. No tires, chemicals, liquids, petroleum products, appliances, mattresses, batteries, hazardous material, or explosives allowed in the dumpster.

May 7th, 2016 – Pool clean-up day! Come out and help get the pool area ready for opening!

May 14th, 2016 - The Pool Opening! We are excited about the improvements in our pool area this year. We have completed our security enhancements of the Pool and Tennis Court areas. We have established a new and improved entry system and policy for our pool and Tennis Court areas. The Pool and Tennis Courts will now use a card access control system for entry and exit of the areas. Each homeowner will be issued two unique proximity cards. These cards must be used to enter and exit the Pool and Tennis court areas. We have several volunteer homeowners who have stepped up to administer the new card access system for the HOA. Cards must be signed for in person, no cards will be mailed.  You must attend one of the sessions below to get your cards for pool access:
April 30th, 2016 - Pool parking lot 9am – 12 noon.
May 7th, 2016 - Pool parking lot 9am – 12 noon.
May 14th, 2016 - Pool parking lot 9am – 12 noon.
Each homeowner must sign card agreement and be present in person to receive cards
ID must be present at time of card issuance.
Tenants of properties must bring signed agreement from owner and tenant must sign agreement as well.
